Hi, I’m Maite — a sparkling wine enthusiast, traveler, and storyteller.
My journey into the world of wine began with a deep fascination for sparkling wines, especially Champagne. I hold the WSET Level 3 certification and have further specialized with a Champagne Master program, allowing me to develop an in-depth understanding of the region, its producers, and its unique terroir. Over the years, I’ve visited numerous Champagne houses, building close knowledge of both iconic maisons and independent growers.
Originally from Barcelona, I also have a strong passion for the sparkling wines of my own region, constantly exploring and learning about local producers.
Beyond wine, I am a passionate traveler. I have visited over 70 countries, always seeking authentic experiences — from hidden wineries to local gastronomy. Travel and wine are inseparable in my world, and each journey becomes an opportunity to discover new cultures, flavors, and stories.
Professionally, I come from a background in Economics and have spent many years working in finance. Today, I combine my analytical mindset with my passion for wine and travel, sharing curated experiences, winery visits, and discoveries from around the world.
